Facetime Theatre, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of Pennsylvania.
Our vision is to enrich lives by exploring, nurturing and celebrating the human creative process.
The purposes of the Corporation are: to stimulate, promote, teach and develop interest in the dramatic arts; to focus on the development of high-quality performing arts programs for area youth; and to advance the general level of culture in the field of dramatic arts by the establishment and maintenance of a theater for the production of plays, musicals, readings, dramas, comedies, shows, exhibitions, and dramatic arts in all forms and of the highest standards.
Facetime Studio (which is now part of Facetime Theatre) opened its doors in 2007 and has been offering high-quality educational programming for students of all ages since then. Facetime Theatre was established in 2009 and ran its first Summer Stage Program in the Summer of 2012. Facetime Theatre offers several Main Stage and Student productions throughout the year as well as educational programming (camps, classes and workshops) for children and adults.
Facetime Theatre is committed to providing unique and affordable opportunities for involvement in the performing arts. In keeping with this mission, Facetime Theatre offers scholarships to incoming students, based on need. Facetime Theatre also offers internships to college students in the Summer Stage program, providing those students with the opportunity to gain both production and leadership experience.
