About the Program

The Facetime Theatre Summer Stage Program is a three-week summer camp experience culminating in the performance of a full-length Broadway musical.

Facetime Theatre’s Summer Stage program is one-of-a-kind in this area. Students work in groups, with college-age interns, who mentor them throughout the program. Facetime Theatre brings in highly experienced instructors to work with the Summer Stage students. Throughout the program, students receive focused instruction and develop the core skills necessary to achieve excellence in stage performance. Emphasis is placed on collaboration, creativity, and fun! The instructors focus on acting, vocal instruction, choreography, stage combat, makeup, costuming, set construction – all aspects of production. Parents and audiences are continually astounded by the quality of the Facetime Theatre Summer Stage productions – we have record repeat attendance – because the experience is so extraordinary!

Students entering the 6th grade and older are welcome to participate regardless of past experience.

Summer Stage will be held at our theatre, Facetime Theatre, in the Franklin Commons in Phoenixville.

How to Register?

Registration opens on February 1, 2025 at 7am.

We will be utilizing a new system for registration this year! When registration opens on February 1, 2025 at 7:00 am, you will be able to click here in order to access the initial Google form. This form is the first step of registration in which we will gather some necessary information in order to either hold your spot in a program or on a waiting list. Spots are limited and will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis, dependent upon age groupings and on the needs of the program. You will receive a confirmation email within 2-3 days. Please do not email the theatre to request information about the status of your registration unless you have not heard from us by February 4th. When you fill out the form, you will receive an email from Google with a copy of the form so that you can be sure that it went through!

The second step of registration will happen once we have assigned all of the spots; you will receive a second form to gather more necessary information.

Campers must be able to attend all scheduled tech rehearsals, performances, and clean-up date. If a camper has an unexcused absence, it may impact the scope of his/her involvement in the performance. Campers should be able to attend all camp dates, within reason, as missed camp days may result in an alteration of casting/role assignments. There is limited time to prepare material, so camp time is very important.
