About the Program

The Facetime Theatre Summer Stage Program is a three-week summer camp experience culminating in the performance of a full-length Broadway musical.

Facetime Theatre’s Summer Stage program is one-of-a-kind in this area. Students work in groups, with college-age interns, who mentor them throughout the program. Facetime Theatre brings in highly experienced instructors to work with the Summer Stage students. Throughout the program, students receive focused instruction and develop the core skills necessary to achieve excellence in stage performance. Emphasis is placed on collaboration, creativity, and fun! The instructors focus on acting, vocal instruction, choreography, stage combat, makeup, costuming, set construction – all aspects of production. Parents and audiences are continually astounded by the quality of the Facetime Theatre Summer Stage productions – we have record repeat attendance – because the experience is so extraordinary!

Students entering the 6th grade and older are welcome to participate regardless of past experience.

Summer Stage will be held at our theatre, Facetime Theatre, in the Franklin Commons in Phoenixville.

Campers should be able to attend all camp dates, within reason, as missed camp days may result in an alteration of casting/role assignments. There is limited time to prepare material, so camp time is very important.
